Nederlandse site.

Write csv file with metadata from photos in a folder or set of folders. The purpose of this function is to make a csv file with all the metadata from all photos in a folder (with or without it's subfolders) or from all photos in a set of folders. Then you have a great overview of all the metadata from a lot of photos. You can also manually change all of those fields and write them back into the photos.
Photoviewer can also use these csv files to show all mentioned photos in it as a slideshow.

Here you see the screenshot from the program for this function. In this example, the csv file to be created already exists. (It wil be overwritten.) The fields which were used when that csv file was created are marked with the ¤ sign in front of them. But with the checkboxes you can choose whichever fields you want to use in the csv file you are about to make.
With the Select all. button you can check all checkboxes with one click. Then the text will change to Clear all. , so you can then uncheck them all with one click.
If you check the Use the fields marked with ¤ as they already exists in this chosen file. checkbox, the checkboxes near the fields are all greyed out and the ¤ signs are replaced by the signs, as indication that you cannot choose the individual fields anymore but instead are using the fields as they already are in the existing csv file.

Choose folder or set of folders. With this button you can choose the folder with photos from which you want to make the csv file. And if you check this checkbox the csv file will also contain all the names and metadata from all photos in it's subfolders.
But instead of using just one folder, you can use a set of folders. The way that workes is explained here.

Choose name and location for csv file. And with this button you choose the name and location of the csv file you are about to make. In this case it points to a file which already exists, so it gives a warning that it will be overwritten. In the case that the file does not yet exist, the checkbox below the fields shall be greyed out.

Start to create the csv file. With these buttons you choose to go back to the mainscreen, doing nothing, or you start the process as you have just defined here with the settings in this dialogbox.
While creating the csv file While the process is running, you see this window in which you can see the progress. For each field you can see how many times it is found in the photos sofar.
You can also instruct Photo organizer to shutdown the computer after this job is finished by checking the checkbox. In such a case, make sure there are no other programs active which require your attention, otherwise they may prevent the computer to be shut down. Or you can return to the mainscreen with the Stop this process. button.
